EN 1570-1:2024 Safety requirements for lifting tables - Part 1: Lifting tables serving up to two fixed landing
EN 1570-1 specifies the safety requirements for lifting tables with the following characteristics:
- serving no more than 2 fixed landings but able to pass a fixed landing and,
- having a vertical travel speed of no more than 0,15 m/s,
- for raising or lowering goods (with or without operators or authorized persons), or,
- for raising or lowering operators or authorized persons with or without goods, to positions where they can carry out work from a fixed or movable lifting table that is guided throughout its vertical travel only.
As lifting tables are used in a wide range of applications, it is equally necessary to perform individual risk assessments in accordance with ISO 12100 for the actual operating conditions. Products sold indirectly to end-users should be built to cover all the risks related to the use and all conditions foreseeable by the manufacturer, as described and detailed in the instruction manual.
EN 1570-1 specifies the appropriate technical measures for eliminating and reducing the risks arising from significant hazards. Where the text gives an example of a safety measure for greater clarity, this should not be considered as the only possible solution. Any other solution leading to the same risk reduction is permissible if an equivalent or increased level of safety is achieved.
Con la Decisione di esecuzione (UE) 2024/2408 (GU L 306/26 del 16.09.2024), la EN 1570-1:2024 è entrata in regime di armonizzazione per la Direttiva 2006/42/CE "Direttiva macchine" a partire dalla data del 16 Settembre 2024. La norma sostituita, EN 1570-1:2011+A1:2014, è soppressa dal 16 marzo 2026 (cessazione Presunzione di Conformità).

UNI EN 1570-1:2024 Requisiti di sicurezza per piattaforme elevabili - Parte 1: Piattaforme elevabili fino a due livelli fissi di sbarco
La norma specifica i requisiti di sicurezza per le piattaforme elevabili con le seguenti caratteristiche:
- non servono più di 2 livelli fissi ma possono superare un livello fisso, e
- con una velocità di spostamento verticale non superiore a 0,15 m/s, a meno che la posizione non sia sicura, e
- per il sollevamento o l'abbassamento di merci (con o senza operatore/i e/o persona/e autorizzata/e, oppure
- per il sollevamento o l'abbassamento di operatori e/o persone autorizzate con o senza merci, in posizioni in cui possono svolgere il lavoro da un tavolo di sollevamento fisso o mobile che è guidato solo durante la sua corsa verticale.
La norma specifica le misure tecniche appropriate per eliminare e ridurre i rischi derivanti dai pericoli significativi elencati nell'Allegato B.
